My first research activities, as PhD student and postdoctoral research fellow, were related to diet quality assessment and improvement in both general population and specific subpopulations (bariatric surgery patients, pregnant women and infants) in European countries. Since I joined IRD in 2015, my research has focused on the identification of the levers of action in food systems to ensure diet quality of populations in developing countries. More specifically, I havestudied the relationships between agrobiodiversity and diet quality in women living on rural Tunisian, Senegalese and Malagasy smallholder farms.
