Areas of expertise
I defended my doctoral thesis in September 2013 (S. Luquet's lab), highlighting for the first time how nutritional lipids affect the brain's reward system, redefining their role in energy balance regulation. My postdoctoral work began in Scotland in 2013 (L. Heisler's lab), where I studied the serotonergic system’s molecular role in metabolism, and continued in Nice in 2015 (C. Rovere's lab), where I investigated brain inflammation caused by dietary lipids and its impact on food intake regulation. In 2018, during my third postdoc in Paris (M. Rera's lab), I gained expertise in the insect model and explored long-term energy balance regulation during aging. I was the laureate for researcher position at INRAe in 2021 and launched a novel project upon arriving in February 2022 in the unit of "Physiology of Nutrition and Feeding Behavior" (PNCA, AgroParisTech, Paris-Saclay University) aiming at exploring the long-term impact of low protein diets on metabolic health in both sexes using drosophila.
